A fireplace match holder? I really have no idea but it's interesting!
You know, that thought never crossed my mind. But after searching match holders, I stumbled across candle boxes, which I'd never seen before, and a few look similar to this. So thanks for the new direction!
I was thinking the same thing as Barbara. Fireplace matches or breadsticks. Whatever it is, I like it.
